Jai + Trishstan Engagement | Gulfport, Mississippi

Trishstan is a nursing student at William Carey, Jai is an oceanographer, and they’re both hardcore ocean lovers. They two have the sweetest fishing proposal story. Trishstan was looking out the water when Jai got on one knee and he said “ouch” to get her to turn around. Apparently, it worked. In Trishstan’s own words, “When I turned around I saw him and I just couldn’t stop asking if he was joking! Finally, I happily said YES!” 

These two were literally so chill and we had phenomenal weather during our time together. We started off at the University of Southern Mississippi in Long Beach for their golden hour engagement session and then migrated to the Harbor at Jones Park to get the whole boat vibe that fit with Jai’s work as a naval officer (the boats were just a tinyyy bit smaller than what he’s used to ;). Although they are stationed here in Gulfport, Mississippi, this stunning couple actually met and fell in love in Florida – where they’ve just started planning their destination summer beach wedding!!
