Hello world! Meet the most southern and sweet couple on this side of Mississippi. Surrounded by the brightest sunshine, we celebrated their marriage outside at the Bay St Louis Community Hall. They did it!!

The two first met listening to Mustache the Band at Brewskeys in Hattiesburg. Cody was dancing his heart out big-time and it caught Chancey’s eye. They exchanged numbers and the rest was history! (Ps. I was expecting some major dancing at their reception and wasn’t disappointed!!) Looking through photos, I’m quite sure Cody danced with every single person who came to celebrate with them.

We started the morning off with Chancey and her girls getting ready. Her ladies then brought out surprise little notes and gifts to celebrate. It’s clear our girl is way loved. Two things: I learned that champagne always sprays farther than you think it will and that there’s a proper method to eating croissants with lipstick on (thanks, Kristie!)

As the girls were getting out of their robes and into their mint bridesmaid dresses, Chancey was driven over to the community center to share a first look with her dad. The poor man was tearing up before she even walked around! Awww!

Next, the couple exchanged gifts before their first look. Cody struggled SO HARD not to peek! Once he saw her, he couldn’t stop looking. We explored around for their portraits, and he was all heart-eyes for his girl. Thankfully, too! The photos you see are of a couple who braved a three-piece suit and a very long walk in heels. But don’t they look so happy??

Theirs was a quick ceremony (why wait longer than necessary, right?!) before their grand entrance to dance the night away. And did I mention there was a lot of dancing? At the end of the night, Cody went up and thanked all the band members with hugs right before they left.

In my book, that means they’re the kind of people who treat everyone like family – including their wedding vendors at the bottom of this page!

There was so much love and an outpouring of well-wishes that went around for this couple that day! Congrats guys!! Ya’ll are the best and I’m so grateful to have been a part of your wedding!
