Biloxi Bridal Session | White House Hotel, Mississippi |

Joselyn lives in Chicago but she and her fiance were planning a destination wedding on our Biloxi beach. We scheduled her bridal session the week of her wedding and everything worked out perfectly! We had to be extra careful to keep her dress spotlessly white because of our recent downpours, but she was in phenomenal hands! She brought her mom and another bridesmaid bestie to help with the dress – a pretty big one, might I add!

Immediately following the first dress fluff, mom started crying on the side. Joselyn did things a little different and had her mom be her maid of honor because they were real best friends. It’s these little things that make me fall in love with my clients. It’s such an honor to be let into real moments and real stories. <3 

Joselyn is hands-down the most daring bride I’ve ever met. After getting photos outside, we went inside the White House Hotel lobby. Even with the hotel and restaurant guests meandering around, she didn’t hesitate when I asked her if she wanted to try a few shots on the floor with her dress spread out. The angle really featured the makeup that her mom had put on her. Down she went to make some of my favorite shots ever! 

And speaking of shots, while we were taking those on the floor, her mom and bridesmaid had wandered over to the bar and returned with four shots. (: We all did a quick clink and cheer before heading over to the beach for more portraits. After a few minutes there, we headed for the fountain and staircase at the Biloxi Beau Rivage. That staircase was made for her elegant dress from Vera’s Bridal and that dress was complimented perfectly with a twisted starfish braid by Holly McKinnon.
