MeriHollis + Joshua | Ocean Springs Engagement Session

From the moment Meri-Hollis & Josh inquired about their date, I started getting excited about their wedding. What a fun couple they are! Unapologetically authentic. Thoughtful, kind, hilarious, tender. Love these two so much. 

She’s a nurse in Birmingham, AL and her co-worker/future sis-in-law set them up. He was a first lieutenant in the army stationed states away in North Carolina at the time, so they had to get to know each other over FaceTime. A month later after finally meeting in person, the rest was history. 

For their engagement session, Josh had just gotten back from deployment, hopped on a plane to go see Meri-Hollis, and together they drove down for the weekend to meet me and all the grandparents who lived in Mississippi. 

At the start of planning, they mentioned they really wanted something unique, fun, and classy for their session. The Walter Anderson Museum & White House Hotel seemed perfect to get us those looks! – and they also doubled as perfect rain shelters for the 90% chance of rain we were supposed to have that day. It poured buckets on my drive home, but not a drop fell from the sky during their entire session. 

Can’t wait to see you two again at The Antler and celebrate this long-distance thing ending forever! Let’s get ya’ll married!!
