Jordan + Stevan |The Stables, Vancleave MS
Covid-19 postponed Jordan + Stevan’s wedding at The Stables, but the celebration was so worth the wait! The sun was shining and the chairs were set up beautifully on the lawn outside. As the time came closer, it soon started to drizzle and the chairs were quickly moved to under the patio right outside the barn. Minutes before the ceremony, the rain decided to pour down in buckets on the tin roof, and to allow everyone to hear, the couple decided to move the entire ceremony indoors. In the most heartwarming ceremony, they said their vows under a beautiful chandelier with all their closest family and friends as witnesses.
Although their wedding ended up being Plan D (!!), they made it through the storms, quite literally, and Jordan + Stevan are officially MARRIED!!!
Also, there needs to be a separate paragraph raving about their wedding party who ran actual circles around the bride and groom to give them some of these memorable pictures – all in July heat and humidity! They were the best!! Jordan is a nurse and it was her matron of honor she met at nursing school that introduced her to the man of her dreams. An extra thank you to Lacona for starting this story off for us!
When I asked about their proposal, here’s what Jordan said, “He is a very private guy, so he proposed at home in our apartment. He let me pick out my ring and it had just come in. He let me try it on to make sure it fit before he hid it. I had said it was so pretty I didn’t want to take it off. So he told me not to take it off and that he wanted to marry me.” (Aww, yesss!!!) Thankfully, #PoundersPutzARingOnIt and Stevan’s ring and his new wife are there to stay!
