Gracie + Parker | Biloxi Engagement Session
Three reschedules later before we were able to finally hang out for Gracie + Parker’s Biloxi engagement session. We came close to getting rained out again, too, but thankfully all we did get were huge gusts of wind. We’ll take all the wind-blown dress drama!
In our video call before their session, Gracie mentioned that she was the one who got Parker to start drinking coffee. As a result, we planned the first part of their session at Jacked Up Coffee Bar. The couple brought their two-year-old daughter for family photos at the end, but I love how she started photobombing us right off the start! (: Next, we drove over to the City Hall where we explored a bit. The burgundy of Gracie’s dress simply popped against the white architecture!
We discussed the look they were going for with their Biloxi engagement session and Gracie mentioned that the beach would her dream spot. Due to crazy weather, the high tide had covered up much of the sand, but they got into the water! (Love it with my couples do this!!). Before getting all wet, they popped champagne and commenced a quick toast. Cheers to October 16th!!
To wind their story back (see what I did there?? :), it all started when they began attending the same church. Parker’s dad was supppeerrr determined to set the two of them up. After MONTHS of hard work, his efforts paid off and the pair went on their first date. ^ insert clapping here. Fun fact: it took longer for Parker to ask Gracie out than for them to get engaged. Making up for lost time, they’ll be married in just a few months more!!!
