Amy + Brandon | Fountainbleau State Park | Engagement Session

While Amy + Brandon are incredibly graceful and photogenic (and genetically blessed!) I loved that they had a secret goofy side. It made for a relaxed evening of easy hanging and sweet in-between shots.
They were first introduced by a mutual friend, Hannah, who also turned out to be the lifesaver of our session when she stepped in to assist with the couple’s two dogs, Bane and Max. The pups joined us for a handful of photos and were just as photogenic as their parents.
Having grown up in the Louisiana backwoods, Amy + Brandon wanted their engagement photos to have the LA vibe of mossy oaks and the great outdoors. Fountainbleau State Park ended up being the perfect location with its stately rows of trees, golden light, and white sandy beach.
When they were running along the beach, Brandon suddenly stopped and had them switch sides “because the other side was more even”. A gentleman through and through. In Amy’s words, their story is “the kind that you just become best friends the first second you meet.”
Friendship set on fire is the best recipe for a happy marriage, and these two humans are doing just that next year at Dunleith Historic Inn in Natchez, Mississippi! Congratulations on your engagement!!
