Hello Friend!
There’s something beautiful about imperfection. Most people wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve been told to get plastic surgery. In a world of airbrush, skinnify / liquify tools, my job is to make you look AMAZING – and who am I to say, but I think I do (^ smiley emoji). Honestly, though, my heart is to pass on the love I’ve received in the person of Jesus, to capture your kindness, your humor, your passion, your joy, and of course, your love story. I love photographing souls.
More than pretty pictures, photography is the art of seeing, and it makes me happy to show people just how unordinary they are. So please, hop on over to the Contact Page and send me a note. Tell me your story??
xoxo,
Annie

More About Your Wedding Photographer
The top two questions I get while photographing weddings are, “Where are you from?” and “How did you start shooting weddings?”
So, here goes. 🙂 I’m from Taiwan, born in New Zealand, and a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the past 20+ years, I’m an empath, ISFJ, and a 6 on the enneagram. As part of Generation Z, it feels like people talk to strangers less and less. I believe that every life has value and purpose and I believe in investing in relationships and holding on to them tightly.
Annie Elise Photography started as a humble mission trip fundraiser. I started capturing families and then slowly branched into weddings… and along the way fell head over heels in love with creating and preserving stories. My Chinese name is 恩妮 which means Grace and that has quite truly been the theme of my life.
